ASSOCIATION ASSEMBLY 2016: about 130/140 people from nearly 50 churches met in Whaddon Way on June 25th. Worship led was by Colin Pye and a small band. During the morning there was information and inspiration, the AGM was held and a new member church was welcomed - Wymondley in Hertfordshire. Also noted that in the past year Kingswood, Watford had closed and Corby was about to draw to an end. Mursley also was no longer holding regular services. Rupert Lazar spoke passionately on his theme “Anointed to Do Good”. After lunch there was a magazine style presentation of news from around the association.
So, were you there? How was it for you? Was the venue OK, and the format and style of the day? If you have any comments to make as plans for Assembly 2017 begin to be shaped, please get in touch with Colin, Geoff or Stephen.
