Renew Wellbeing

The CBA are very excited to announce our new formal partnership with Renew Wellbeing which began in January 2024! By investing in our own dedicated Renew Wellbeing representative, Sarah Fegredo, we can encourage the growth of Renew Wellbeing centres around the CBA and support those already working in this missional way.

Sarah is visiting the association in May so do join her to find out more:

Saturday 11th May 10am to 12:30pm - Renew Taster Day at Ampthill Baptist Church - A time for churches thinking about a Renew space to come and experience a Renew space and hear some of the Renew story. Sign up here if you plan to attend:

Sunday 12th May 6pm - Sarah will be speaking at Ringstead Baptist Church.

Sarah is also planning an event on Saturday 13th July at Mount Pleaseans Baptist Church in Northampton for teams to get training in how to run their Renew space, or for new team members of existing Renews.

A Warm Hello

Welcome to the website of The Central Baptist Association. We look after about 150 Baptist churches across Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire, including Milton Keynes. If you are looking to find a specific church near you then please click here.

Who we are

We have a team of four Regional Ministers, led by Lisa Kerry, alongside Mary Moody, Nathan Toseland and Andrew Openshaw. Andrew is also the association secretary. Our moderator is Maureen Hider and our treasurer is Roy Farrant. Jane Day is the course tutor for The Learning Collective.

What we do

We support ministers and churches by 'walking together in ministry and mission'. This includes providing pastoral care for ministers, advice to churches, guiding the settlement process, encouraging churches in their mission, providing training opportunities, encouraging networking, talking ecumenically, and offering small grants.
